This story is fast paced and easy to read. This is the first book I’ve read from the author.

I felt that Melinda’s character was relatable in the way she was questioning whether she should take that next step with her boyfriend, Brandon of two years or move on. At this crossroads is when she falls upon Ryan.

“I’ve bared more of me to you than I have to anyone else in my life. How does that happen?”

As for Ryan, he was dominant but not overwhelming so. He just knew what he wanted.

“When someone like me craves someone like you, we don’t even need to speak to display it. I knew exactly what you wanted the moment you tripped over your own feet asking me where the toilet was at last night’s show. I saw right through you, and I’m happy I could do this for you.”

Unfortunately the female lead, Melinda is in a relationship at the time she meets Ryan, which is the one thing I’d like to point out that I’m not a big fan of is the cheating. The sexual scenes in this novella were so descriptively hot…so hot it bordered on pornographic.

The ending is different and I really liked how she played it out. So, I’d say this is an enjoyable read. Thank you to the author for providing me a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Shiraz by Gisell DeJesus will join the ranks of the BIBLIO-SUPERIOR.
