MOTION (Laws of Physics, #1)

By: Penny Reid

Publication Date: February 11, 2019

Genre: Contemporary Romance, New Adult

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 STARS

Oh how I adore Penny Reid’s way of commingling smart, yet quirky humour and romance. The impact her words make is like a force to be reckoned with. Gotta love the brand of Smarty Pants Romance!

In Motion, we have Mona DaVinci, an awkward but incredibly smart and talented science prodigy attempting to help her identical twin sister out of a major predicament. She has to pretend to be her and fool Abram, her brother Leo’s best friend. Abram is in charge of keeping Mona’s sister, Lisa out of trouble until their celebrity parents return. There’s little chance that Abram would figure out that Mona is really not Lisa, since he’s never met Mona and interestingly has met Lisa only once before.

It gets good when Mona and Abram find themselves mutually attracted to one another. Will they act on their feelings? If you want to find out … read this book!!!

I have to make note of my new favourite word…FURNGHORNGRY…when fury, hunger and hormones collide!!

Warning: Motion ends in a major cliffhanger! I’m eagerly awaiting the second instalment, Space that apparently also ends in a cliffhanger. Despite the cliffhanger, Motion is a MUST read!!! I’d like to that the author who so generously provide me an ARC. Motion by Penny Reid will join the ranks of the BIBLIO-ELITE!!!

Motion, the first in the all-new Laws of Physics Trilogy from Wall Street Journal and New York Times bestselling author Penny Reid, is available now!

One week.

Home alone.

Girl genius.

Unrepentant slacker.

What’s the worst that could happen?

Mona is a smart girl and had everything figured out a long time ago. She had to. She didn’t have a choice. When your parents are uber-celebrities and you graduate from high school at thirteen, finish college at seventeen, and start your PhD program at eighteen, you don’t have time for distractions outside of your foci. Even fun is scheduled.

Which is why Abram, her brother’s best friend, is such an irritant.

Abram is a talented guy, a supremely gifted musician, and has absolutely nothing figured out, nor does he seem to care. He does what he feels, when he feels, and—in Mona’s opinion—he makes her feel entirely too much.

Laws of Physics is the second trilogy in the Hypothesis series; Laws of Physics parts 1 (MOTION) & 2 (SPACE) end with a cliffhanger.
